WELCOME !!!

We are a group of volunteers who are parents of children who are deaf and hard of hearing and professionals who work with children who are deaf and hard of hearing.  If you are looking for someone to talk to about your child, meet other families with children with hearing loss, share triumphs, vent about a hard day or have educational concerns, you have come to the right place.  Please check out our resources and web pages on the left.  If you need more specific information or would like to share information or ideas that might be helpful, please contact us.  We are looking for solutions.  We want to hear from you!

Our children are all children, no matter what they're needs.  If we let them, they can teach us marvelous things.

Everyone has challenges in life.  We already know what challenges our children have to face.  So, if you think about it, we're ahead of the game.

If a child is to keep his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in.
-Rachel Carson

Parents: persons who spend half their time worrying how a child will turn out, and the rest of the time wondering when a child will turn in.
